It’s funny when you pass people several times a week that we never really get to know the person. I met John several times over the last few months as our paths crossed, mostly down to the fact that we both operate out of the same building some days. We always greet each other with a warm hello, and I often thought nothing more of it, other than it being a routine exchange. Then I found out more about him and just had to bring him onto the show.
The following is John’s story of faith, service to his country, family life, addiction and his trojan work in trying to “disable inequality” especially in terms of the work he and a handful of others do around the Athlone area highlight disability access issues and so much more.
