The following was a starting point for me, my first steps into writing about issues around mental health in Ireland and beyond. This series came about through serendipity and friendship. A few twists of fate put me on the doorstep of an academic mentoring service seeking advice, but from there I ended up working alongside the team and eventually helping to create content for the service, the rest is history.
So, make yourself a brew, grab that comfy chair and have a read of our short series that encompasses an ease of accessibility into crucial statistics, a few personal experiences, the issues we as a country face and what can be done to help combat issues around mental health and stigmatisation in our ever diversifying population.
